Ooey Gooey Playschool Update
Hi all,
I have been at the school now for the last three months. I am sad that I do not get to see you all on the road with Lisa, but it has been very busy and exciting here in Rochester. The school is now in it's second year. We are getting ready to start our second Fall season at the Ooey Gooey Playschool and things are really heating up. Our infant program is on a waiting list and we are opening our fourth toddler room in September to handle the current demand. Once that room is full, the toddler program will be on a waiting list. Our preschool program is about 50% full. The teachers are all doing wonderful things everyday with their students and Lisa's mom (Laura) is taking care of all the parent's needs at the front desk. Our new Program Director Cheryl is busy working with all the teaching staff to make each room special. We were recognized from the US Local Business Assotiation as the "Best New Preschool" in the Rochester area.
We are in the middle of Lisa's Summer Session this weekend at the school with over 100 teachers from around the country sharing stories and hanging out. The school is transforming everyday into the vision Lisa and I had in mind when we opened the school over a year ago.
It's weekends like this that remind Lisa and I why we do what we do. We are very blessed with large amounts of support from family and friends everyday and from all of you that come and share a few days with us every year. I am very proud of all the people who are trying to make a difference in the lives of children on a daily basis and I am honored to know each and every one of you.
Until the next time our paths cross, have safe travels and exsist in peace.
Tom
